Supporting School Aid

School Aid is a thriving charity that supports the advancement of education in Africa.

It achieves this by taking in books from schools and organisations from across the UK which would otherwise have been discarded, and ships them with the help of the charity’s supporters to schools, libraries and communities in Tanzania, Malawi, Lesotho and South Africa.

School Aid takes in and collects all types of suitable resources, from textbooks, library books, school stationery, sports clothing and equipment, and other surplus educational supplies and furniture. UK Schools are the primary source of most of these items, however more and more businesses are able to support the charity by offering their surplus stationery and office supplies.

Lions Lifeskills receives donations from local Lions Clubs to support School Aid with lifeskills resources. These resources are providing life skills to some of the poorest communities in the world.
